Let me entertain you...

Skiathos!! ( Skee-Eye-Thos)

Well... after a lovely security check-in at Dulles (our toiletries did not quite meet FDA regulations), a "30 minute" flight to Philly aka circle the airport for 90 minutes, popping some "happy pills", 10 hr flight with 3 small bottles of chardonnay, two and half hour drive to the port in a 4 passenger car ( 6 bodies are making the journey), a 4 hr. layover to wait... outside... for the 3 hr ferry ride to Skiathos.... WE MADE IT!!

And it was worth every minute of travel and Corrie turning GREEN from the car ride.

We have had a little trouble with internet connection. But after incredible days filled with scenic views, delicious food aka FETA, wonderful company and conversations... we not only found an internet cafe (that serves wine) WE FINALLY BATHED!! Don't worry we swam in  Lauren's infinity pool a couple of times AND made it to the Aegean sea.

We wanted to share some stories and a couple of pictures that can only attempt to capture our journey so far.

Have you ever driven in Greece? Well, Bops has now. A tiny tiny little red European car. Did we mention our villa is on top of a MOUNTAIN????? Well it is. Which we are thankful because of the incredible views BUT have you ever tried to drive up a mountain in a tiny tiny red go cart? Well it involves getting stuck in the middle of a winding, steep hill with squealing tires and the smell of fire and gasoline. It all worked out though... we just "calmly" rolled back down the hill and gunned it like we were experienced Nascar drivers aka JESUS ( or some other higher existence) TOOK THE WHEEL. We think it might have been a Greek god.

We are now about to go pick up the third "kitsos" from the ferry. Maria is arriving tonight and we are pumped!! Took us a while to get this up and going but we promise to be expert bloggers/storytellers for the rest of our journey! If anything, we hope this blog will make you laugh as much as we do.
