Travelin' Kitsos: Let me make you smile...

Maria is here!! We picked her up from the ferry and now the travelin' kitsos are complete. We added some Spanish "sabor" (flavor) to the mix and BOOM... we are one spicy group!! We sat down in the quaint little town of Skiathos to drink some more wine and eat some more feta. And it was delicious! Again. Here we learned that Maria ven aqui is our own road trip expert. She has been busy mapping and budgeting our trip through the south of Spain and Portugal! And we are happy kitsos. See map for detailed itinerary. This is the map of our journey after we fly to Barcelona on Sunday.

Yesterday we prepared for a party at Lauren's villa with all of her friends from Greece. We thought we had experienced "authentic" Greek cuisuine but whoa. This was delicious. We had a feast and shared stories about our backgrounds and some of Lauren's friends brought their artwork as well. As the night progressed The Three Kitsos were asked to do a guided improv on the patio as the guests watched from the terrace. We were a little hesitant because the three of us have yet to collaborate but it was a great way for us to begin this process. It turned out to be an effortless way for us to start moving together. The scenery behind us was also a plus. See picture below. Skiathos at dusk. We can't wait to buy little chairs and a table and to paint the chairs blue. Because, everyone needs some tender little blue chairs and patio table. And a view of the Aegean Sea... from a terrace.

So today we took a little adventure around the northern part of the island. This little boat/fisherman delight took us to Lalaria and Kastro. We had many boats to choose from this morning. Although it was probably the smallest, oldest boat we could have picked, one sailor tickled our fancy and we could not resist. See the epitome of a Greek god below. Our tiny tug boat made it to Lalaria before any other of the boats. When we arrived at the beautiful stone beach we were basically the only people on this tiny piece of paradise. We must say, it was SPECTACULAR. We swam, sunbathed, and looked for stones on the beach. These stones are not just any stones, and will make great souvenirs for the financially impaired kitsos. We also believe they have special powers. Like balancing on a slippery rock in the middle of the sea. See pic below.

ALMOST FORGOT!! We were making our descent down the mountain this morning (by the way Bops is a natural Mario Adretti) and guess who we met? THE ORIGINAL KITSOS!!!!
